Drum sampler

This sampling device gives perfectly representative samples of the contents of conventional 200L drums.

While descending into the drum at a speed that declines as a function of the liquid’s viscosity, the gauge takes regular samples of all the layers of liquid. The base of the tube closes upon contact with the drum bottom.
When it is lifted out of the drum the full length of the tube is dried off by its drying ring, adapted to fit the diameter of the bung.
The drum gauge with Pyrex tube provides direct visual control of drum’s contents and the sample is decanted directly into the sampling bottle or flask via the pouring spout. Simultaneous cleaning of the inside of the tube.
Like all our sampling devices, the drum gauge is fitted with the appropriate seals for the products being sampled in order to ensure perfect tightness and thus an optimum result.
